Hunters Hill Council Student Art Exhibition

dan-obrien-with-his-light-painted-photographAt the opening of the Young in Art exhibition at Hunter’s Hill Town Hall the work of several Year 9 Visual Arts and Photography and Digital Media students was proudly displayed alongside the artwork from other local schools.

Robbie Matchett, James Flett, Frankie Stackpool, Jack Morgan and Dan O’Brien all attended the opening with three students receiving awards. Congratulations to Jack Morgan  whose digital photographic work was Commended for its strong colour and composition, Dan O’Brien’s photograph was highly Commended for a tonal study and Pop Art reference and Frankie Stackpool who was awarded the Prize for all Secondary entries for his impressive self-portrait study using impasto and palette knife technique. Frankie’s work will by displayed at the Council’s Town Hall for the next 12 months.
