Science Excursion

Next Tuesday, the Year 7 boy will attend a Science Excursion at the Australia Walkabout Wildlife Park in Gosford. The excursion will take place all day with the boys returning at approx. 3.30pm. The boys have been given the details for the day from their Science teacher but they need to wear neat casual clothes for the day. A hat should be worn along with closed in shoes (no thongs). Recess and lunch will be provided at the venue.

Wednesday Morning Mass

At 8.10am every Wednesday, an optional mass is held in the College Chapel. This is not only a lovely way to start the day, but it is a great opportunity to have some quiet, contemplative time to say thanks and to pray. Many Year 7 boys have attended this throughout the year but as we near closer to the end of term and the busy examination schedule, I think it would be good for the boys to make the time to stop, reflect and to take some deep breaths.

Friday Night BBQ’s

Just a reminder that the bbq’s are back on at the park every Friday night. This is a good opportunity for Day Students and Boarders to mingle in a very relaxed environment.

Donations to Westmead Children’s Hospital

Daniel from Westmead Children’s Hospital attended the Year meeting on Tuesday morning to receive donations from Mrs Hookham’s pastoral class. The boys raised funds to purchase books for the hospital to distribute over Christmas. A very kind gesture and well done to Mrs Hookham and the boys in her pastoral class.
