AFL home game
On Saturday 18 May, the College’s two AFL teams played on the back ovals, in what was the first time an AFL game was played on campus. The present ovals were not developed between 1888 – 1891, so Joey’s home games were played at Jackson’s Green, an area towards the back of the present day McDonalds up on Victoria Road. From the AFL, Sam Graham (CEO NSW/ACT AFL) and Anthony Brooks (2003 old boy) attended the games.
