Study skills

At the end of Term 4, Year 7 will have their first formal exam period when they will be examined in each of their subjects.

To prepare for this process we started with a study skills session in Period 2 today.

Today the boys learnt about:

• • Organising a good study enviroment
  • Eliminating distractions
  • The importance of creating a study timetable

At the end of the session the boys started creating a study schedule which will be used in conjunction with their study folder. The study folder will be checked by their pastoral teachers each week and also the evening study supervisors.
