Parenting Seminar Reminder 25^th November

Dear Parents and Carers,

We wish to remind parents about the parenting seminar next week, It’s Time We Talked on Monday, 25^th of November at 6pm for a 6:15pm start. It will be held in the Brother Michael Naughtin Theatre.

The talk will be led by Ms Maree Crabbe, Director of the Violence Prevention Project, Reality & Risk: Pornography, Young People and Sexuality. Ms Crabbe has worked with young people for over 20 years. She is Co-Producer and Co-Director of the documentary films Love and Sex in an Age of Pornography, and The Porn Factor, which have been broadcast on SBS. She is also author of In The Picture – a whole school resource to assist secondary schools to address the influence of explicit sexual imagery. Maree’s articles on young people, sexuality and pornography have been published online and in print media.

On the night Ms Crabbe will be joined by the Headmaster, Dr Chris Hayes; Head of PDHPE, Mr Craig Sharpley; Director of Innovation & Technology, Mr Graeme Kachel; and the College Psychologists, Ms Stephanie Bennett and Ms Monica Bignold.
