Year 7 Rowers

Yesterday the Year 7 rowers had their first competition races for this season. Known as the Year 8 Quads, they had a successful day  with wins by the 1st, 5th and 6th crews.

Rugby pennant winners

Boys in sport teams who are undefeated throughout their competition season are awarded a pennant. During the winter sport season, the 13C, 13D, 13F and 13G rugby teams were undefeated. Athletic testing

With the main winter competition season over, the boys are moving into Rugby 7’s, Futsal, AFLX and tennis. This will be the case for a few weeks until Summer Sport trials begin. The long jump pit is right in front of the grandstand and it was great to see so many boys having a go.

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to make it to get video of the high jump right until the end when Lucas was the last man jumping. He jumped 1.55m and just missed a Personal Best of 1.57m.
