Congratulations Avery Brown

This year we continue to encourage our students to engage in regular sustained reading by participating in the 20 books in 2020 Reading Challenge.

By committing to read at least 20 minutes each day, boys should be able to read 4,400 words per day, 30,800 words per week and 1,600,000 words per year. This equates to over 20 books by the end of the year. (Based on 220 words per minute which is the average reading speed of a Joeys student)

We would like to congratulate Avery Brown in Year 8, who has completed this challenge twice over, having read an impressive 40 books since returning to the College this year. Well done Avery for all your efforts.
