At our Year 8 Division meeting last week the Year 11 Liturgical Leaders launched the Christmas Appeal for Year 8.
The boys were encouraged to think of someone else more in need than themselves. The appeal will provide gifts for children in need and is the same charity that Year 7 last year gave so generously to.
A Christmas tree will be put in the Year 8 dorms and stars will be hung on the tree. On each star there will be the name of a child and their age. Students are encouraged to take a star from the tree and buy a present for the child. The present will need to be wrapped and the star placed on the present. The present can then be returned to the dorm and placed under the tree.
