Last week at our Year 10 Division meeting Mr Rob Cousins, the Careers Counsellor, spoke to the boys about their upcoming work experience in the last week of Term 2.
In particular, he mentioned that it must be undertaken in the week commencing 14 June and that the boys need to start researching what they are going to do now. There is more information on the dedicated iLearn page which includes information for parents and students and a large number of resources for the boys to research possible opportunities and tips for making contacts with prospective employers.
Finn, a current Year 12 student, showed the boys a video he made during his Year 10 work experience in Thredbo and spoke about the opportunities that work experience opened up for him. His employers at the time are now keen to talk to him about employment once he completes his HSC.
