1 May was the first Saturday the whole school were together at the Park since August 2019. For about 400 of our current students, this was the first time they had experienced this.
The cheering rang out loudly across the Park and echoed around the local Hunters Hill neighbourhood. The senior rugby and football teams had good victories against Kings. Under 16’s football and rugby also had good results with only a couple of losses against higher graded teams. See results here.
More important than the sport results, though, was that the boys spent some time outside, with their mates, supporting their school. They also experienced the sense of community that occurs on days like these. A number of Year 10 boys who started this year or last year commented to me what a great experience it was.
