Congratulations to the following boys who were recognised at the Headmaster’s Assembly this week for their recent performances.
Benji Sestanovic was highly commended and received a medal in the Catholic Schools Debating Association) Public Speaking
competition.
Sonny Matchett and Oliver Burnett who were selected in the GPS u16 Football representative team.
Gordon Durie who has qualified for the NSW All Schools Swimming carnival in 100m freestyle.
Max McGavern won a Gold Medal at the Australian Youth Weightlifting Championships. He lifted 110kg in the Clean and Jerk and 81Kg in the snatch in Under 17. After his total of 191kg at these championships, he is currently ranked No. 1 lifter in the Youth Male 81kg category in Australia.
