Goal Setting

At the moment we are asking all students to complete the attached goal setting sheet and reflect on their goals from First Semester into Second Semester. From my interviews it is has been invaluable to discuss and reflect with the students their goals, aspirations and study techniques that they are incorporating into their routines.

13590421_10155000173721040_1367551304440509798_nStudent Lunch on the lawn with parents and carers Friday  12 August (next Friday).

Where: BBQ Area near pool

Time: 12.48pm – 1.30pm

Cost: All Parents attending on the day are welcome to make a Donation of $10

Walk On for parents: All parents welcome to walk on to Woolwich Pier afterwards for lunch and refreshments – we have booked a Joeys area.

The details for the lunch are as follows:

  • Lunch will commence at 12.48pm and finish at 1.30 to ensure boys have time to get to their next class.
  • All parents/carers are invited to join your sons for a “whole year lunch” on the lawn.
  • No need to bring a thing…..Parent Reps will be providing lunch for the boys – we are going to do a sausage sizzle, chicken skewers, salads, ice creams, cakes, fruit and drinks.
  • NB the Year 9 REF (kitchen) will be closed so ALL BOYS are to attend even if their parents aren’t able to make it.
  • We would love it if some parents can make/bake cakes/slices to be served  after lunch.
  • We ask that all parents attending donate $10 to the kitty to help cover the cost of lunch – we will be passing around the hat on the day.
  • When the boys head back to class all parents are warmly invited to “Walk On” to the Woolwich Pier for a catch up.
  • We will have a few spare sausages on the BBQ for any parents unable to join us at the Woolwich Pier afterwards.

Look forward to catching up ………………if its wet we will still go ahead but maybe not on the lawn , we will update the location on the day.

Cakes / Slices :  Parents bringing cakes on the day please bring to the BBQ area.  A table will be available to place them on. Please ensure that the cakes are cut and ready to serve. If you need to drop them at school the day before please drop off to Mr Mick Blair.

Thanks Year 9 Parent Reps
