Spring Fair – White Elephant Stall Information

Dear Parents/Carers,

The Joey’s Spring Fair is a great time to clean out a cupboard, drawer, garage or garden shed, even under your bed!

Your trash becomes another’s treasure = cash = assisting the purchase of school items = the education of our beautiful boys now and in the future.

There are many items that will sell well on the day and there are many items that will be thrown into the skip by 5 pm.

A successful White Elephant will depend on your wonderful and quality donations. You may even assist by putting your items in a box ready for display and sale.

“Drop off” Room is the corner-room next to the UNIFORM SHOP and Second-hand Uniform Shop. (This will be clearly marked on windows of room).

Please DO NOT drop off to school reception. It is not the responsibility of the staff at reception to receive items or move them to the drop off location.

Listed below are items that will make a great stall:

Kitchen alia, teapots, Tupperware, crystal, decanters, silverware, copperware
Old tools and garden equipment; gnomes and garden ornaments, garden furniture
Quality crockery and coloured glass
Vintage – old clocks, crockery, Barbie dolls, train sets, books, caneware
Quality second-hand clothes and shoes – hardly used please.
Lego and children’s books, train sets, Barbie Dolls
Toys and jigsaws (no soft toys)
Unused wedding and birthday gifts
New Books – Gardening, sport, biographies, auto biographies and special interests, novels (NO encyclopaedias, magazines or student text books)
Small furniture pieces that can go in the boot of the car
Home décor – quality pieces e.g. cushions, rugs, lamps,
Vintage and quality new jewellery
Art and vintage wall hangings, suit cases and old boxes
Bikes, sporting equipment – cricket bats, small recreational equipment – skateboards, Pink elephants
Musical equipment – guitars, violins, etc
