Visual Arts
The energy, imagination and effort we are seeing by our young Year 7 artists in the studio is producing some exciting work. The boys have been developing their drawing skills this term and are in the early stages of working on their large scale drawings and paintings for the program ‘Flower Power’.
For parents new to the College, the Art Department will hold their Annual Student Art Exhibition in August this year where parents and friends are invited to view the fabulous work the boys produce.

Pastoral Care
Year 7 will be focusing on bullying and anti-social behavior in their Pastoral Care groups this week. The focus is to bring about awareness and develop an understanding of bullying and the impacts it causes. This will also be addressed in our Division Meeting on Thursday morning and the boys will be encouraged to stop, think and consider their actions. The concept of the by stander will be addressed and the boys will be encouraged not to take on this role. They will be encouraged to do the right thing and take on a sense of responsibility.
The National day of action against Bullying and Violence will be held on Friday 17 March, 2017. This is a day that encourages awareness which will hopefully bring about change. Leading up to this day, the Year 7 boys will address bullying and will routinely be asked to think about their actions and the potential consequences. Bullying will continually be addressed throughout the year in Pastoral Care time and in Division meetings.
