Year 9 Parent Representatives message

Dear Year 9 Families,

Welcome to what we hope is another fantastic year of our journey together and a special hello to our 14 new families, we hope you and your boys have started to settle in to this fabulous community.

Please follow the attached link to include your details on the Year 9 Social Contact List. We have to re ask for the information every year, so please make sure you fill it out if you want to be included on the contact list. Please note that it is not compulsory and we will endeavor to keep everyone in the loop through the year via emails that will be kindly forwarded on by Mick.

Another casual way to keep in touch is via our private Facebook group. If you are not part of the group and would like to be, please search for ‘Joeys Parents Year 12 2021’ and request to join.

Canteen duty is early for us this year, so the roster will come out very soon. Please set aside Saturday 7^th April as a volunteering day.

There are a number of events throughout the year where we can gather as part of the wider school community and some that are especially for Year 9 and we hope to see a lot of you at both. The events/dates we have so far include:

Year 9 Family Gather Drinks and Dinner – Jacks Bar & HHH Saturday 12^th May

P&F Big Night Out – Friday 25^th May

City/Country Mothers Luncheon – Friday 3^rd August (Year 9 Organising)

Mum’s Weekend in Tamworth – 15^th/16^th September

SJC Sports Lovers Lunch – Friday 21^st September

Year 9 Mums Movie Night – TBA

Year 9 Kids vs Parents Barefoot Bowling & BBQ – TBA
