Vivid Sydney

Last Saturday night the boarders who were staying in took a trip to Vivid Sydney. We travelled to North Sydney and parked the bus at the Shore school then walked across the Harbour Bridge. For many of the boys it was the first time they had ever walked across the Harbour Bridge. There were great views of the light shows around the city before we descended into The Rocks and walked to Circular Quay where there were huge crowds.

As well as seeing the light shows, there were a few eye openers for the boys including the massive crowds (“you don’t get crowds like this in Dubbo”) and some interesting members of the public. A few of the boys caught the train back from Circular Quay to Milson’s point and Mrs Haines showed them how to navigate their way through the Sydney train system.
