SJC CROSS COUNTRY CARNIVAL: 23rd June
On Saturday, the College hosted the GPS/CAS/ISA combined Cross Country Carnival at North Ryde Common. There were over 600 competitors involved in the three races. We received a number of complimentary comments during the morning about the running of the Carnival and the services on display, including a BBQ cooked by our students.
There was a lot of preparation that went into the carnival. Thank you to a number of staff members and coaches who were involved in the planning, organisation and coordination on the day. Special mention of the outstanding efforts of Mr Cameron Hart, Ms Angela Menassa, Mr Craig Attwater, Mr Mark Cahill, Mr Ralis Vane-Tempest, Mr Michael Radziowsky and Mr David Wiseman. Many parents current and past also assisted on the day. Also, the golf students were extremely helpful during the morning with set up, general duties and pack up. Mr John Flitcroft also volunteered his time to take photos of the action.
It was another example of the College spirit on display.
