Year 9 Boys Selected in GPS 15 Year’s Cricket Squad

Congratulations to Matthew Dodds, Simon Dodds and Nicholas Johnson who have been selected in the GPS 15 year’s cricket squad.  The boys attended selection trials at the SCG Indoor Cricket Centre last Monday with students from other GPS schools.  The squad of 25 boys was selected following the trials.  The squad will play a Possibles vs Probables match in February 2019 to enable selection of a GPS Chairman’s 15 Year’s XI which will play Combined Associated Schools (CAS) on Sunday 3 March 2019.

Matthew Dodds and Simon Dodds are currently playing in the Joeys 1^st XI squad while Nicholas Johnson is playing in the Joeys 2^nd XI squad.  Matthew had successful day last Saturday in the 1st XI win against Grammar, scoring 20 runs not out and taking 2 wickets.
