Indigenous visit to St Michael’s, Lane Cove

Will Johnson and Yuribaya Farrawell from Year 9 joined George Johnson and Jake Hobday from Year 11 to visit St Michael’s primary school at Lane Cove. They shared some of their dances and lead some small group sessions on dance and culture.

Year 9 at Sunday night mass

Last Sunday night Year 9 took their turn at the readings and offertory at Sunday Mass. All are welcome to join us each Sunday night at 8:15pm (except Sundays when there is a family mass).

During the week the boy’s PDHPE teacher was delayed for a few minutes but Tom took the initiative and started teaching the class.

Assembly today

At the Headmaster’s assembly today we prayed for the farmers who are struggling as a result of the current drought. Accelerated maths

Each Tuesday night Mr Holland’s accelerated mathematics class have an extra lesson during evening study. Tonight they are using similarity to calculate the length of unknown sides.

Term 3 kicks off

Cooking breakfast on your own BBQ

Mr Drewitt-Smith provided some bread, sausages, bacon and eggs so that the boys could test out the BBQ’s that they have made in Industrial Technology Metal class. The blow torch provided an interesting flavour to the eggs!
