Yesterday at the school assembly a number of sports awards were presented. Two year 9 boys received awards for cricket. Hugh Ridley was recognised for his 126 runs not out in Cricket against Scots. Congratulations to Archie Gallagher who took 5/7 off 5 overs against Scots.

Today the College marked the start of Lent with a liturgy for Ash Wednesday. Father Gavin led the liturgy and spoke to the boys about making a sacrifice and helping someone else. Ashes were distributed to staff and boys. The annual Lenten appeal was also launched by Year 12 boy Jet Williams (See separate post).
