I am sure by now you would have heard about the tree coming down on-top of our Dorms on Tuesday evening. I stood upstairs in the foyer of the dorms watching it for I thought it may happen as the wind and rain was so strong and the amount of rain we have had made the ground very soft. Sure enough when it did come down, a number of boys were watching too.

However what happened next was really impressive. The mature, calm and common sense manner in which the boys, in the effected dorms, took their mattresses and moved into other dorms to sleep for the night. Getting on with things, calmly and maturely, in emergency situations is part of the culture here, especially in the senior years and the boarders certainly displayed this on Tuesday evening. Well done to them all.
