ASSEMBLY – INTERNATIONAL WOMENS WEEK.

The boys have been involved in a number of activities cantered around international Women’s Day right throughout this week and at our Assembly yesterday they were very fortunate to hear an outstanding speech from Associate Professor Lucy Morgan. Lucy’s boys graduated from Joeys and she has a long connection with the College right throughout her family. She delivered some very enlightening and thought provoking words with strong messages to our boys regarding Consent and the general displaying  of respect to the women in our lives. At the conclusion of the Assembly, boys from all groups presented the women of our staff small gifts to acknowledge the outstanding work they all do and as a show of solidarity in committing to and supporting the challenge  of treating the women in our lives with respect, in all we do.
