Ag Excursion to Colo

All the Ag boys – we woke up at 7am and then we all headed down to Mark Street Gates.

We headed to Colo the bus ride was rough on the road heading into Colo.

When we got to Colo we had a team meeting and Ms Wood told us what the day was about

First we all headed on a walk around the ground of Colo. we all were given a booklet to complete throughout the day

We were looking at the soil that we were trying to find what the moister level in the ground in three different places of the farm

We started at the bike park then moved down to the Dam and then to the cow paddocks

When we were at the cow paddocks we looked at the weeds to see what they were and what type of grass was growing in the fields

We started to investigate the cow e.g. how they look, if they are pregnant, etc

We headed back to the shed and filled out the booklet

Then we headed back to the college on the bus
