At each Headmaster’s Assembly there is usually a musical item. Usually it is one of the ensembles and occasionally a rock band. However, at the second assembly of the year Lucas Choi from Year 10 did a solo performance for the school.
Lucas is a highly accomplished musician as both a soloist and ensemble member. In addition to his progression with Cello, Lucas is pursuing additional interest in Trombone particularly through the College ensemble program. Lucas has a successfully completed his AMusA and has engaged in further study through the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and their Rising Stars program. Lucas presented an arrangement of the first movement of Cello Concert in D minor by the French composer, Lalo.
