Last term Year 10 attended a “Respectful Relationships” seminar. The seminar was presented by David Kobler from Your Choicez and the key focus areas were challenging societal norms regarding expectations of young men, the impact of pornography and the issue of consent.
A number of students missed the presentation due to COVID and a number of parents were also interested to hear the seminar. David has kindly allowed a video recording of the seminar to be provided below. There are 3 parts which range from 45-60 minutes so I have also created audio only versions which may be more convenient to download and listen to later (click the 3 dots at the right hand side of the audio).
David is hosting a parent seminar soon on the topic of ‘Raising teens in a hyper-sexualised society’. This seminar aims to empower parents to talk to their teens with greater confidence about pornography, dating and healthy relationships.
