This weekend was a busy one for the boys with compulsory events on both Saturday and Sunday. It was great that the vast majority of boys attended and contributed to both. It is this attendance and contribution by all that builds the sense of community that we all enjoy and benefit from so much.
Saturday saw winter sport fixtures against Riverview in the last trial game before competition starts. It was also the largest crowd hosted at the Park on a Saturday afternoon since 2019.
Sunday morning was the Champagnat Family Mass and it was great to see so many families coming to participate in the Mass.
On Sunday afternoon it was so pleasing to see so many boarders doing some study in preparation for a big week of assessments this week, all off their own bat without any encouragement from me. Hopefully some of the boy at home were doing the same thing.
Sunday evening ended with a trip up to the top of the main building to check out the lights in the city for the Vivid festival.
