In Week 3 I introduced the boys to the Edquire service which monitors what the boys are doing on their laptops during classes and during evening study if they are here on-site at the College. Edquire records any activity as On-Task or Off-task, as well as if their usage cannot be categorised.
I showed the boys how they can look back to see their own historical usage.
Since then, with a greater awareness of their activity, Year 10 as a group have:
- Reduced their average Off-task computer activity by 21%
- Reduced their average computer usage overall by 24%
Hopefully they can maintain this positive change.
