International Women’s Day

At the Headmaster’s Assembly for International Women’s Day, the College was fortunate to have Mrs Michaela Browning, a member of the College Advisory Committee and a Year 10 mother, give the keynote address. A former CEO of the National Foundation for Australia-China Relations and senior career diplomat with experience in some of the world’s most under-privileged countries, she referenced her experience in Afghanistan and Pakistan where she helped introduce education and vaccination programs for young girls. She reminded everyone present that women’s equality has exponential benefits for the development, safety and security of all nations.

All the boys who were involved in the College Musical, Strictly Ballroom, were also acknowledged.
