Currently in Year 10 there are 111 boarders of the 195 in the year group. Beds are packed into the boarding house as we have the most boarders enrolled in Year 10 for some years. Unfortunately this means that there are no more beds available for trial boarders apart from those we have already committed to. For those interested in boarding in Year 11 next year, you should contact Mr John Reading, Head of Boarding.
Due to COVID in Term 1, influenza in Term 2 and a little more COVID in Term 3, we have never had a single day this year when all 195 boys have been at school. Likewise, we haven’t yet had a night when all boarders have been present in the boarding house.
Last week we came very close to having a full house at night, with just 3 boarders away. It has been creeping closer to a full house for the last 2 weeks… hopefully a full house is in sight soon!
