Debating premiership

by | 10 September

The final round of the GPS debating competition was hugely successful for the college. We debated against
Riverview and had the challenge of not being on our home ground. Fortunately, this did not hinder the
success of our boys in debating as we had multiple teams in each year group beat Riverview. The firsts
won against Riverview, making them undefeated champions of the GPS Debating season!! Furthermore,
the seconds beat Riverview making them joint premiers. This is a wonderful result for the college and is a
testament to the dedication the boys have put into mastering the skill of debating over the past three
terms.

Congratulations to William McCarthy (Year 10) who represented in the 2nd Debating team.
