YOUR CHOICEZ: A RESPECTFUL RELATIONSHIPS PROGRAM.

YESTERDAY OUR BOYS SAT THROUGH ANOTHER MOST VALUABLE PRESENTATION FROM DAVE KOBLER ON THE TOPICS OF SEX, DATING AND RESPECTFUL RELATIONSHIPS AND WHAT IS NEEDED TO MAKE A HAPPY, HEALTHY AND RESPECTFUL RELATIONSHIP. MANY OF OUR BOYS SPOKE HIGHLY OF THE DAY AND ONCE AGAIN, PAT NAGLE AND HARVEY O’KANE GAVE THEIR OWN ACCOUNT OF THE DAY –

“Today we had a seminar on Respectful Relationships that went over the course of the day. The day was split into three main components, these included the topics of male masculinity, the effect of pornographic content, and sexual education. The guest speaker Dave from Your Choicez Respectful Relationships was a very genuine bloke who had a good sense of humor towards the boys throughout the different sections of the day. Dave was very approachable and open to us about his family and what his wife had been through when she was younger. The topics were interactive, and we regularly went outside in our PDHPE classes to work in a booklet with a series of questions regarding the different sections that we worked through. The boys took a mature approach to the day and had learned about the male body and about laws and regulations regarding consent and sexual abuse. At the end of the day Dave let anyone who wanted to ask questions written a piece of paper and then answered them to us all. This was good because the questions were meaningful and genuine. All the boys certainly enjoyed this presentation and took something from it”.
