The students gathered on Wednesday to mark the beginning of Lent with self-reflection, prayer and the distribution of ashes.
Following the distribution of ashes by Year 12 Acolytes, Max Downes launched the 2023 Lenten Appeal: to raise funds for the building of a school in Timor-Leste, Kulugia Primary School. As usual, Year 12 were also involved in providing the great music for the liturgy.
Sr Helen Peters concluded the Liturgy by sharing some of her many experiences volunteering her time in Timor-Leste.
