The Senior French students went on excursion to the French Film Festival and Le Coq Rotisserie restaurant.
The film, “Sugar & Stars” (A la belle étoile) was a great hit and all of the students were impressed to hear that it was based on the true story of a French Master Pâtissier. The cinema experience came second only to the enjoyment of the delicious French meal which followed: Charcuterie platter, roast chicken and duck with Ratatouille and salad and choice of Chocolate fondant or crème brûlée for dessert. Much French was heard in conversation throughout the meal and the staff, native French speakers, were suitably impressed.
