We previously posted about the preparation that the boys were doing for the robotics competition and how they were presented at the Headmaster’s Assembly. The team travelled to Wollongong on 11 May to compete. In the “Joebot’s” first attempt at this competition they finished in a very creditable 15th place.
They also won the Rookie Inspiration Award which “Celebrates a rookie team’s outstanding success in advancing respect and appreciation for engineering and engineers, both within their school, as well as in their community”.
Below are some photos of the competion and a video of the final round and Rookie Inspiration Award presentation.
