On the 16 May, after the Federal Budget was handed down in Canberra, our Economics students hosted girls from 7 other schools in the Hall. On the agenda was a review the headline data and specific initiatives of the Federal Budget 2023/24, including the rationale for decisions and their expected impacts on the Australian economy.
The boys were also lucky to hear Mr Matt Comyn, CEO of the Commonwealth Bank, speak and to ask him some questions as well.
