The much-anticipated 2nd XV “Grand Final” lived up to the hype. As expected, King’s started strong, and their big ball carriers dominated the collisions. Our 2nd XV has proven themselves as excellent finishers – with 6 of the 9 previous games coming down to the last play. Despite Kings’ early possession, our boys were clinical when they got opportunities, and almost ran away with it with 10 minutes to play. To Kings’ credit, they fought back, which made for a tense final 5 minutes. Our boys hung on, winning 32-29 to become AAGPS Premiers.
