Last week, our debaters came up against a competitive Sydney Boys’ High in a round dedicated to topics about sport. Some of the topics included co-educational sports, redirecting funding and the marketing used at sports grounds. We had some successful wins on the night across all year groups. The Firsts and Seconds debated brilliantly against an undefeated Sydney Boys’ High team and managed to secure the win. Special mention to the Fourths team who debated for the first time together. Despite their loss, they enjoyed their first debate and look forward to developing their skills.
