At our Headmaster’s Assembly in the second week of the term Luis Pitt started with the Acknowledgement of Country followed by Joe Mangelsdorf with a prayer. William Ackery and Jarrod Dominish led the singing of the National Anthem.
Oliver Burnett and Alex Phillips then spoke to the school body about their experiences on the Marist Sony Camp which was held at the end of last year.
Mr Blake presented the Marist Cricket Carnival trophy to Hwi Sharples, Captain of the team which won the competition in the recent holidays.
The Senior Swimming team was then presented to the assembly ahead of the first meet of the GPS swimming competition.
Finally, the Jazz Band performed “Uptown Funk” featuring Jack Angwin (12) and George Androu (10).
