The 1st XI match was an exhilarating affair. Following a previous loss to Scots in the Plate competition, our boys knew they were up against a physical team. Despite both teams having close chances in the first half, no goals were scored. However, the Burnett connection came alive in the second half, with Nicholas delivering a brilliant through ball to Oliver, who skilfully evaded the goalkeeper and scored. Scots quickly retaliated with a powerful long-range shot, leveling the score. A tense 15-minute period followed, with Noah Khoury securing the winning goal in injury time.
