The Cross Country runners travelled to Upjohn Park for the final competition round of the term. The race was hosted by Scots and the course proved challenging with a number of technical corners and undulating hills. In the seniors we had a strong squad consisting of Oliver Neate, Max Merifield, Matteo Mastro and Xavier Fink compete over the 8km course. Oliver led the team home with his 4th place finish (3rd GPS) and was followed by Max in 30th (19th GPS), Matteo in 54th (40th GPS) and Xavier in 71st (56th GPS). A special mention must go to both Max and Xavier for their efforts. Max made a massive improvement from previous weeks with his 30th place finish and showed that his hard work is starting to pay off. Xavier also competed in his first Cross Country race for Joeys and showed excellent resilience to fight through the 8km course.
