Marek and Jonas presented a report on the recent successes of the Joebots at assembly.
The 1st XV Rugby team were presented on stage ahead of the start of the GPS competition and the 2nd XV were also recognised.
The 1st Cross Country were also presented along with Honour Blazers for Jake, James and Paddy.
William McCarthy was congratulated on his selection as Captain of the Australian Schools debating team to compete in Serbia during the Term 2 holidays.
Hayden Ciguenza was congratulated for his performance for NSW in the Pizzey Cup. The NSW team won the Pizzey Cup with Hayden going undefeated in singles and doubles during the teams’ event. On the back of this performance, Hayden was selected into the All-Australian Team and also received the Team spirit award for within the NSW team due to his excellent leadership as captain throughout the week.
Billy Blair was congratulated on his first place in the u18 100m Hurdles and 4x100m relay at the Australian National Championships and his recent selection to represent Australia at the Oceanic games.
