The biggest clash of the day in rugby yesterday wasn’t our 1st XV in their game against Knox’s Centenary team. It was actually the 7th XV versus the 9th XV internal. Both are Year 12 teams and there was a big crowd in attendance to watch them battle it out. There was a fair degree of banter and a little bit of good natured sledging (which would never happen if the boys were playing an external team).
The 26 – 0 final scoreline to the 7th XV didn’t reflect how close the game actually was.
