Please find below the timetable for the boy’s Trial HSC Examinations. The exams will take place in Weeks 5 an 6 from Monday August 19 (Study Day) until Friday August 30. Those boys studying Music will do their Music Practical exam on the morning of Saturday August 31.
We have one study day and 9 days of written exams in our exam block. In the HSC there is one study day and 19 days of written exams. This means that the Trial HSC exams are much more compressed in terms of time than the actual HSC. As a result, many boys have days where they have more than one exam and / or a number of exams in a row. This is the same each year and at every school. In addition, there are a number of constraints related to which subjects can be grouped together for exams. This changes every year based on student subject choices. All these factors can make the Trial HSC exam block a challenging period. As ever, Mick and I are encouraging the boys to work consistently and continue to do the little things right so they can move through this period smoothly.
