Hi my name is Joseph Kandalaft and I’m a day boy who comes from Eastwood and I’m really happy to be the first Kandalaft to ever come and get an opportunity to start at an amazing school.
My favourite subjects at school would have to be PDHPE, Art and History. The most fun I have at Joeys is pretty much everything but nothing can beat when I’m out on the oval running and playing touch footy with all of my mates.
If it wasn’t for my mum and dad I would never of got this opportunity to come and set my future up here. I'm very grateful for what they have done and sacrificed to get me to Joeys.
You will never ever forget a memory at Joeys and already it has been the greatest experience of my life so far. And all my mates from primary say they don’t want to go back to school but not me I say I CAN’T WAIT TO GET BACK TO SCHOOL.
Hello, my name is Andrew Zhao, and I’m a full border from Bomaderry which is down the South Coast about 2 hours and 45 minutes away from Joeys. I have 3 older brothers and they're all extremely annoying. I’m 12 because I’m underage but it doesn’t matter because it’s still awesome being at Joeys.
I play basketball in the summer season and play rugby in the winter season and both of these sports are heaps fun. My two favourite subjects are Maths and PE and I like these subjects because they are fun and I run around and I learn a lot at the same time.
Joeys is a great school with heaps of opportunities and great people that you can meet. I love joeys because you get to hang out with your mates and get to know people who you may have never even met before. My most favourite thing out of all is boarding. When you board you're always with your mates no matter where you are and that’s the good thing about it.
Coming to Joeys was the right decision as the academics are great and the learning and sports is too. I’m happy that my parents sent me to Joeys, and gave me this opportunity and sacrificed so much for me to come here as it is a great experience.
