Sport awards

Yesterday at the school assembly a number of sports awards were presented. Two year 9 boys received awards for cricket. Hugh Ridley was recognised for his 126 runs not out in Cricket against Scots. Congratulations to Archie Gallagher who took 5/7 off 5 overs against Scots.  

Programming ozobots

An Ozobot is a little toy robot that can identify lines, colors, and codes on both digital surfaces, such as an iPad, and physical surfaces, such as paper.

Year 9 Debaters

Boys doing in debating this year are currently involved in trials to organise teams for the upcoming debating season.

Thursday night is clean up night

Each Thursday night the laundry returns and the boys remake their beds and tidy up the dorms. They always tell me how much they enjoy it and wish they could do it more often at home.

Each morning before Period 1 of school (except for Tuesday) the boys meet in their pastoral group for 15-20 minutes. The groups consist of 14-15 students and they have the same pastoral teacher throughout the whole year.
