Swimming carnival

Yesterday all students travelled to the Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre (SOPAC) for the College swimming carnival. All boys participated by swimming in at least a 50m race and got to swim in the pool of a former Olympic venue. The Red house won the day and will get a lunch leave next week.

Japanese Dinner

Mrs Xouris’ Japanese class went for dinner at Daruma Japanese Restaurant in Haymarket last night. As well as some delicious food, they got to practice speaking Japanese.

1st Water Polo

The 1st Water polo team were presented to the College at Assembly last Thursday. Congratulations to Jarrah Ronan and Liam Stuart who were both selected in the team.

1st XI and 2nd XI Cricket

At Assembly last Thursday the 1st XI Cricket were presented with their baggy caps. Congratulations to Matthew Dodds and Simon Dodds from Year 9 who were selected in the 1st XI. Congratulations also to Nick Johnson who was selected in the 2nd XI.      

Commemorative College Cadet pin

At the Headmaster’s Assembly, Years 7 to 11 were presented with a commemorative College Cadet pin, reproduced as a gift from SJC Old Boys’ Union.
