In the short film ‘New Boy’ justice is portrayed through the use of racial and the civil wars. int he film Joseph father who was a primary school teacher was killed for some unknown reason but we know that it was something with the civil war. Joseph was then moved to a school where the population was 99% white people and he was bullied. Joseph and the boy who bullied him achieved justice when they both started fighting and then became friends towards the end.
Justice is created in the short film ‘New Boy’ through the use of racism and prejudice. Joseph was put into a primary school with the majority of the kids being white. this was due to his father being killed because of civil war. Joseph was bullied on the first day by two white kids which is known as racism. Justice is achieved when he got into a fight with a kid then became friends at the end of it.
Justice is displayed in the short film “new boy” through the new kid being bullied through racist comments from other kids in the class. As the boys are standing outside the class they laugh with each other and this is how justice was solved.
I think that this film also challenges the boy’s background and what happened to his father through the use of the flashback. The flashbacks are a powerful technique in creating a sense of tension.
in the film “New Boy” justice is portrayed as a young African boy with a haunting back story starts school in a place he hasn’t been to before and finds out quickly exactly what it means to be the new kid and how hard they are on him and then become friends after the girl in the class states “she’s such a bitch” and the whole class has a laugh than the boys made some comments and they became friends witch is representing that you should aways give the person a chance before you start picking on them.
This clip looks at how racism is look at a modern school in this day and age. It’s unfortunate at how this is the way a black boy is treated at his new school, but its kind of a reality which needs to be fixed in our school so justice is served to the people who have had racism towards them.
