Year 7 Visual Arts

Year 7 are learning to draw with Mrs Simon. Their task was to draw fruit free hand. For many of the boys the best part was after class enjoying eating the fruit.

7R Drawing fruit

Today in period 4, 7R completed some observational drawings of fruit still life arrangements for our first unit ‘Art Chef’. They got to eat the fruit at the end of the lesson.

Evening study

Tonight is the first night of evening study. The boys are still getting used to it but already they are doing some productive work. Homework support is running with two staff to assist the boys as well as the Year 7 boarding staff, most of whom are teachers.

First Saturday of sport

Unfortunately most of the Year 7 sport was cancelled due to the rain this morning. Only the water polo was played. Here Jack, Henry and Sam are at the Park watching the 1st XI cricket which is still on.

Singing practice

In preparation for the Family Mass on Sunday the whole school had a singing practice during Period 2 today.
