The boys have worked really well during study this week and are preparing themselves for the final exams. I have been most impressed with their efforts throughout the first two days during the exams and the study periods. Hopefully this will translate to solid academic progress.

Congratulations to Billy Finlayson on receiving his award today at the Headmasters Assembly today. Billy took 5 wickets against Sydney Boys High.

Well done to the boys in the guitar ensemble group who performed at the Headmasters Assembly today. Congratulations boys.
• Start time is 7pm in the Br Emilian Hall but the boys need to be in the Music Centre by 6.45pm
• Dinner will be provided for all boys so if you want your son to stay instead of signing out at 5 then this is totally fine. You do not need to change his time on Boardingware or send me an email if he is going to do this.
• The boys need to wear their BLUES for the event. They can shower and get dressed into their BLUES in the dorms at 5pm.
• The concert should finish between 8.30pm and 9pm.

With the Yearly Examinations fast approaching with link below could be very useful for you and your son. The boys will be discussing and watching some of these short clips in their Pastoral Care lessons but the more analysis and discussion the better.

“Mindfulness can help children calm their minds and make the most of their life, setting them up for career and relationships. It reduces their anxiety and improves concentration, productivity and sleep.”
Dr Michael Carr-Gregg
The Link above is for the Joeys School TV website. There are some wonderful items on this site that you would find very useful. Please spend some time looking through this and discussing some topics with your son. I have shared a few things with you in the past from this (the Fortnite special, sleep and some information on resilience) but there are plenty more themes that you could utilise such as a focus on anxiety, examinations and the importance of physical activity.
