Break out in the Library

Last week the library welcomed the first Year 7 classes in the library to participate in a break out room themed library orientation lesson. After a short talk from the library staff the boys embarked on a scavenger hunt and were tasked with solving a variety of challenges and puzzles; the solutions providing them with codes required to open a mystery box containing the “lost” keys to the rowing boat shed.

The activities were designed to assist the students to discover various areas in the library, the location of books, how to use the catalogue system, the names of the staff and opening hours.
